Load your dumpster systematically and consciously. You can fit a lot more material in each dumpster if it is loaded with thought. Use the rear door to help load heavier items first and focus on keeping it level during the entire loading process.

However you do it, make sure the material is inside the dumpster and not sticking out past the top rim.

Proper Loading

We exercise extreme safety and caution when placing and removing dumpsters and do everything in our power not to damage property. But, with that being said, dumpsters are inherently heavy and the wheels that they roll back on can leave scuffs. These scuffs are usually just cosmetic and fade quickly with time. If you are concerned about protecting your driveway, please ask us how we can help.

The authorized representative of the delivery warrants the location provided by the customer is sufficient to bear the weight of the dumpster and any vehicle required to transport the dumpster.

Driveway/Surface Damage

Reserve your dumpster with confidence. If you need to cancel your order, a refund will be issued. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery and are subject to a $25 transaction charge.

A placement location will be determined before the dumpster is delivered. On the day of delivery and pickup, our drivers must have unobstructed access.  If the dumpster is inaccessible, additional "Attempt Fees" may apply. Dumpsters are automatically removed on the last day of the rental period.

Drop-off and Removal

Dumpsters are considered full when the materials are level with the top rim. Our dumpsters have clear markings indicating the maximum loading level. We cannot legally haul any dumpsters that are loaded above the top rim.

Overfilled Dumpsters

We work hard to keep our dumpsters well maintained and looking good. We ask that customers treat the dumpster with respect and avoid causing any unnecessary damage. We ask that all dumpsters be loaded by hand. Each dumpster has easy opening rear gates to assist in loading heavy and bulkier material.  The renter assumes responsibility for the cost to repair any damage that occurs during the time of rental.

Damage to Dumpsters

Pick a spot that is convenient for both you and the driver. Dumpsters are often placed in driveways, RV pads, yards, or on the road. Dumpsters placed on the street must be placed in front of the customers property and not obstruct with traffic in any way.  Driveways and Alleys must be free from overhanging branches and power lines. Driveways are often the best choice, as they can help detour unwarranted dumping. Our trucks require a minimum 9' width  and 11' height.

Once the dumpster is in place, it is not allowed to be moved. If you need the dumpster moved, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

Dumpster Placement

Each service includes an allotted weight. Any additional weight is billed at $35 per ton.

The Maximum weight allowed in any of our dumpsters is 6 tons. If the dumpster is too heavy to load onto the truck, the customer is responsible for removing enough material to allow us to safely load and haul.

Salt City Dumpsters currently does not accept Dirt, Sod, Concrete or Rock. If a dumpster is misused, the customer is responsible for off loading the material. Bottom line - do not overload the dumpsters!
